If any of your children come home asking if they can have a yard sale it's because we've been pretending to have them.  Mat Man only wanted to buy one boot, silly boys!
I promise, the children wanted to pretend to be the turtles in Yertle Turtle.  They wanted to squish each other!

Look at the innocent little toddlers wanting to play with the big boys!
I'm so proud of what a great job the children are doing taking care of the flowers!  The ones in the shade didn't do so well, but the ones in the sun are beautiful.
Sink and Float is a great game to play at home in the bathtub too!
Giving young children knives is a great way to increase their fine motor skills.  They think they are hot stuff when they are allowed to spread and cut their own food!  With supervision only of course!
Recently I sent an email to the parents asking for bathing suits in their cubby so we could have spontaneous water days....Well, this day we just didn't have time to change everyone into bathing suits and then all back into clothes before lunch.  So it was either skip the water play, or just go ahead and play in their clothes.  You see which one we chose.  Sorry parents about the laundry, but they really had a great time!
